Our mission is to honor dogs and bring joy to those who care for them. Our goal is to establish loyal customers by providing a growing collection of products that dog lovers will be proud to purchase and share as gifts.

DOG SPEED™ INSPIRATION

It has long been recognized that DOG is GOD spelled backwards. Perhaps this is no coincidence.
Humans develop a spiritual bond with dogs which, ironically, help us understand humanity. As we spend time teaching our dogs to behave appropriately, they are simultaneously teaching us the values of love, loyalty, patience, kindness, discipline, and most importantly forgiveness… something more valuable than the shoe they mistakingly used a chew toy. Dogs may not be Gods, but their unique ability to lift our spirits may suggest they are angels.

The term God Speed is used to wish someone good fortune and prosperity on a new journey.
The brand Dog Speed™ is a source for dog lovers to acknowledge the good fortune that dogs bring us. All of our merchandise features custom artwork which was designed to honor your dog or to give as a thoughtful gift to friends or family who also love dogs.
Wag your tail, howl, play and be the person your dog thinks you are. DOG SPEED!

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Scott Anderson has been working as a designer for over 20 years. In 2004, he approached the founder of TEAVANA®, a small tea retail company of 5 stores, with new ideas he believed might improve their brand. He was immediately hired as Creative Director to recreate the small tea company into a sophisticated premium tea brand. Throughout his 10 years at the company, he learned an important equation: quality products + thoughtful designs = loyal customers.

Teavana® eventually became the industry leader for retail premium tea and, with over 350 stores, the company was acquired by Starbucks® in 2013.

Scott left the company in 2014. While working as a freelancer at home with his 2 dogs, he developed a new appreciation for the joy that dogs offer and wanted to do something to honor them. After nearly 2 years of research, crafting artwork and finding reliable manufacturers, Dog Speed was proudly launched.
